Our Courses
Our comprehensive courses are designed to provide expert perspectives on various facets of fire training, safety, and prevention. Our Range of Fire Training Courses
Our comprehensive fire training courses are built around current legislation, national compliance standards, and practical workplace needs. Each course is taught by certified professionals with operational experience in the fire service. We tailor every programme to your building type, necessary risk assessment and team responsibilities to ensure legal alignment and effective implementation.
We provide fire safety training nationwide, with strategic offices in London and Glasgow. Courses are available on-site, through virtual learning or immersive VR environments.
Fundamentals of Fire Door Inspection
This specialist module supports maintenance and facilities teams in identifying non-compliant fire doors that may compromise fire safety protection training strategies. Delegates will learn to identify different door sets and learn how to conduct comprehensive Fire Door inspections, aligned with BMTRADA guidance. They also practise recording their findings using industry-standard documentation.
It’s particularly relevant for settings like HMOs, care homes or public buildings where fire risk assessments and compartmentation are essential to compliance and safety planning.
VR Fire Warden (Full Day)
Our VR Fire Warden full-day training immerses designated responsible personnel in lifelike emergency scenarios. Trainees engage with high-pressure scenarios that simulate raising alarms, leading evacuations, and operating fire extinguishers. The course includes duties under the Fire Scotland Act 2005 / Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, with emphasis on risk control and emergency coordination.
This module is highly effective in environments such as student housing, logistics depots and manufacturing facilities. It’s often paired with our fire safety management training to provide a complete fire response package.
VR Fire Warden (Half Day)
This condensed module delivers essential fire safety training to staff responsible for managing incidents. It covers fire behaviour, the fire triangle, evacuation procedures and site-specific response plans. Through VR, trainees assume the duties of a fire warden, including directing teams, activating the fire alarm and executing controlled exits, as well as operating fire extinguishers.
The course offers maximum engagement in minimum time, making it ideal for hybrid teams or shift-based operations where full-day sessions are not feasible.
Fire Extinguisher and Equipment Awareness
This module helps teams understand how to select and operate firefighting equipment, including different types of fire extinguishers. While not suitable for high-risk intervention, it ensures your workforce knows how to respond confidently during the early stages of an incident.
We recommend pairing this module with our Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course, especially in workplaces such as warehouses, mechanical workshops and hospitality kitchens. It supports both fire safety inspection training and practical emergency planning.
Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course
This SQA-certified, one-day course offers recognised health and safety skills for managing medical emergencies in the workplace. While not exclusive to fire, it helps companies prepare for fire-related injuries, fainting or unconscious casualties during evacuations.
Delegates learn to control scenes, administer CPR, and provide support to affected individuals until help arrives. This course demonstrates your organisation’s commitment to wellbeing and is strongly recommended for duty holders in high-traffic areas or complex premises.
Additional Specialist Courses
We deliver advanced fire safety training for organisations with heightened regulatory needs or complex site layouts. Our fire-stopping training courses focus on passive fire systems and compartmentation, helping staff identify and report penetrations or compromised barriers.
Facilities managers and compliance teams also benefit from our fire safety management training:
- Covers policy implementation tailored to your organisation
- Supports audit preparation and inspection readiness
- Applies structured fire safety legislation across multi-site businesses
These advanced modules work in conjunction with our wider offering, including fire-stopping services, fire risk assessments and fire door inspections, supporting long-term compliance, reduced liability and a stronger safety culture.
